Every one of our Therapists are well experienced in working with children with a range of speech, language and social communication impairments. All of our Therapists are registered with Health Care Professions Council and have worked / or still work within the NHS.

Deborah Hazell
Director & Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
BSc(Hons), MRCSLT, HCPC-Reg, MASLTIP
Deborah is the owner of Wise Words Speech Therapy. She has over 10 years experience of working with children from ages 2-16 with a wide range of Speech, Language and Communication needs. Deborah specialises in working with children under 7. She has a particular interest in working with children with Speech delays and disorders, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Stammers and language difficulties. Deborah is trained in using low tech AAC systems such as core boards and PECS, Attention Autism programme and Makaton Signing. Deborah is also trained in the Lidcombe Programme for children who stammer.
Deborah is ADOS trained and can carry out diagnostic assessments for Autism. She is also trained and experienced in assessing and providing reports for tribunals.
Deborah is registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council.
Deborah is available to see clients at your home, school/nursery or in a clinic (Spire London East).

Christine Dodge
Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Chris is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who works with children and young people from 2-16 yrs. She works across a number of settings : client’s homes, nurseries, preschools, primary and secondary schools as well as specialist provision for children with Special Educational Needs.
Chris enjoys working with families and the adults who support clients in their communication and learning environment. She supports children with a wide variety of needs : Attention and Listening difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Language Disorder/ Delay and Speech Sound Difficulties.
Chris is trained in Makaton Signing and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Chris is registered with The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

Diellza Nishori
Speech and Language Therapist
MSc(Hons), MRCSLT, HCPC-Reg
Diellza is a knowledgeable and experienced Speech and Language Therapist who works with children and young people from 2-16 years. Diellza has worked in various settings including: client’s homes, primary schools, specialist provisions, and clinics.
Diellza enjoys working with families and adults who support clients in their everyday communication and learning environment. She has supported children with Autism, Speech Sound Disorders and Language Disorder/Delay.
Diellza is trained in interventions including; Attention Autism, Colourful Semantics, Lego Therapy and Intensive Interaction. Diellza has a particular interest in Autism and Speech Sound Disorders.
Prior to completing her masters in speech therapy, she worked as a speech therapy assistant for many years.

Iman Boukhris
Speech and Language therapy assistant
Iman is a knowledgeable Speech and Language Therapy Assistant who works with children and young people from 2-16 years. Iman has worked in various settings including: client’s homes, primary schools, specialist provisions, and clinics.
Iman is currently completing her speech and language therapy degree.
Stephanie Webster
Stephanie, is an experienced Speech & Language Therapist Assistant specialising in speech sound disorders and early language learning within primary school settings as well as family homes.
Stephanie is Elklan and SCERTS trained, and certified in the Curiosity Approach (via the Attention Autism team). Stephanie is also trained in AAC, Intensive Interaction, Word Aware and Meaningful Speech (supporting children who learn language in Gestalts)
